From its frilly white fragrant flowers to its ornamental reddish-maroon autumn foliage, Virginia Sweetspire deserves any special mention it receives. Butterflies are also delighted when they find Virginia Sweetspire in bloom.

     Virginia Sweetspire grows to a height of 5-10 feet, and a width of approximately 5-6 feet. Mature shape is upright and arching. Requires a well-drained soil and is very rarely bothered by pests or disease. If you don't have Virginia Sweetspire growing in your garden, you don't know what you've been missing.
