reddish-maroon autumn foliage, Virginia Sweetspire deserves any special mention

in bloom.
Virginia Sweetspire grows to a height of 5-10
feet, and a width of approximately 5-6 feet. Mature shape is upright and
arching. Requires a well-drained soil and is very rarely bothered by pests or
