The Rose of Sharon is a small tree-like shrub with
large conspicuous Summer flowers that continue blooming until Fall. Rose of
Sharon blooms are produced singly or in pairs and the stunning flowers are
white, blue, purple or red. This ornamental, deciduous shrub's large trumpet
shaped flowers attract hummingbirds.
Rose of Sharon is an excellent specimen tree and
is versatile enough to be used as a hedge in either a formal or informal garden
landscape.
